The newest member of the Schwalbe Marathon series sets new standards in touring tires. The new sporty profile, in combination with the Addix Race rubber compound, offers the lowest possible rolling resistance, which of course has a positive effect on the battery range. At the same time, this tire rolls safely on all surfaces and has the proven V-Guard puncture protection. The reflective strips on the side wall of the Marathon Efficiency are particularly practical, providing additional safety on the road.
ADDIX RACE COMPOUND
Completely new recipe. ADDIX Race is a multi-compound made from the latest and highest quality polymers in tested quality. Since the filling levels for silica were significantly increased, the mixing process also had to be refined. Different special mixtures are used in the center and on the sides. This increases grip in corners without having a negative impact on rolling resistance or durability.

V-GUARD puncture protection insert
The insert is made from a specially developed high-tech polymer fiber that is also used for bulletproof and stab-proof vests. It offers excellent protection against cuts and stabs and is extremely light. Neither the rolling resistance nor the suppleness of the tire are affected by V-Guard. The 14 mm wide insert protects the entire tread and thus ensures extremely high puncture protection. The 3-layer side wall also reliably protects against cuts.
