The TLO "The Lightest One" 62 wheelset is an announcement to the competition with its unbelievable 1460g. The high-quality T1000 fibers are used for this. They are around 16% more tensile than those of the T800 series. This means that less material can be used without losing stability. Despite this low mass, it is approved for a system weight of 105 kg. This means that even stronger riders have the opportunity to lighten their bikes.
The stable rims in 3K structure, like the Extralite hubs, guarantee a long and carefree life. A CyberFront SL was installed at the front, a CyberRear SL2 hub rotates at the rear. In addition, they received an increase in performance through hybrid ceramic bearings. These impress with their first-class smooth running and a significantly longer service life than stainless steel bearings. The Sapim CX Ray and CX Super spokes are very robust, light and, thanks to their flat shape, offer very good aerodynamics. This is also supported by the internal nipples.
In contrast to other manufacturers, the rims can withstand temperatures of up to 230 ° C. Thus, they are also well suited for rim brakes and long descents can be tackled in a relaxed manner.
