The Rotor PowerPacks offer you an inexpensive option to equip your bike with a power meter.

The INSpider power meter fits perfectly into the building block system of the modular rotor cranks . In combination with the lightweight Kapic aluminum crank arms, the PowerPack is intended for use on MTBs. From a technical point of view, the INSpider lies between the 2INpower and INpower power measurement systems from Rotor. While the INpower only measures the power in one crank arm, the INSpider determines the power of both legs using 4 counter-rotating strain gauges. This enables a precise performance analysis of pedaling and potential for improvement can be made visible. The separate analysis of both legs, as the two-sided separate measurement of the 2INpower allows, is not possible. The system automatically compensates for measurement deviations due to temperature fluctuations. However, after installing or changing the chainrings and at least once a month, the INSpider should be calibrated manually using a compatible ANT + / BLuetooth bike computer or the Rotor software. Thanks to a completely encapsulated measurement technology, the power meter is insensitive to environmental influences and, thanks to a magnetic shop connector, is completely waterproof. The built-in battery ensures an operating time of up to 200 hours.

Another highlight of the system is the TORQUE 360 evaluation option. The torque curve during one pedal revolution can be analyzed using Rotor's in-house software. This measurement technology is particularly valuable for riders who use Rotor's oval Q-ring chainrings. The software can determine the optimal position of the Q-Rings via the OCA (optimized-chainring-angle) system. So you can bring your strength to the pedal even more effectively. Due to the fine grid of the INSpider in combination with different positions between the crankshaft and crank arms, the OCP (optimum chainring position) of the Q-ring can be set in 1-degree steps.

NOTE: Contrary to the illustrations, the crank is supplied with a black crank guard.
