After the season is before the season! With the Rotor Powermeter Bundles you can now buy a high-end power meter for a reduced price and make your training for 2019 even more efficient.
Thanks to the measuring technology integrated in the crankshaft, there are no visible sensors interfering with the optics of the wheel. Also the weight of the system is minimalistic. So the 2INPower version weighs just 596 grams (with a 170mm crank arm length). This is made possible by the use of Rotors Trinity Drilling System milled crank arms made of ullage 7055 aluminum. The large external diameter of the crank arms provides the necessary rigidity. The system is powered by a durable Li-Ion battery, which can be easily charged via standard USB cable. Thus, the battery can be easily supplied with energy after a running time of about 250 hours. The data is transmitted via the universal ANT + protocol or via Bluetooth.
An absolute novelty of the 2INPOWER system is the two-sided performance measurement by the four additional strain gauges in the right crank arm. This allows a very detailed measurement and kick analysis of both legs to be carried out and possible weaknesses to be analyzed in detail. With the help of ROTOR's extensive and free software package, analysis becomes child's play.
Another highlight of the system is the TORQUE 360 evaluation option. With the help of in-house software, the torque curve can be analyzed during a pedal turn. Thus, weaknesses between the left and right leg or a non-round kick can be detected. This measuring technology is especially valuable for drivers using the rotor oval Q-ring chainrings. The software uses the OCA (optimized-chainring-angle) system to determine the optimum position of the Q-Rings via the torque curve. This allows the driver to bring his power even more effective on the pedal. With the proven 30 mm UBB crankshaft, the system in conjunction with Rotor UBB bottom bracket is compatible with all common bearing standards (except BB90 / 95).
The direct mount standard is compatible with the rotor ALDHU chainrings. These are available as a lightweight one-piece sprocket spider combination as well as classic chainrings attached to the crank via the optional ALDHU 2-way spider. For optimum adjustment of the oval ROTOR Q-Rings chainrings, the OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) system has been further refined. Through a combination of different positions of the crank arms on the crankshaft and a fine-styled Spider recording the position of the chainrings can be adjusted in 1-degree increments. For the adjustment and assembly of the chainrings and the crank, only a 10-millimeter hex key is necessary.
2-speed chainring spider combination | round
The 2-speed chainring, machined from one block of 7075 aluminum, is mounted directly on Rotor's modular road crank systems. This construction with integrated spider can save 30 grams compared to the combination of spider and chainrings.
