ROTOR Chainring QXL-Rings Aero 2-fold LK 110 Exterior
The even larger ovalized shape of the QXL-Rings chainrings serves to better utilize the strengths of the leg muscles and thus to increase your own performance! Increasing ovalization from 10% to 16% improves performance for each individual.
The theory of ovalisation is based on the fact that the human leg muscles are primarily designed to stretch the leg, while angling of the leg is required only rarely and without much effort. The corresponding muscle groups are therefore naturally so different pronounced that even with hard training, the performance of different muscle groups can not be matched. For round chainrings, this difference is always followed by a non-round kick and a significantly faster fatigue of the muscles pulling on pedaling.
The Rotor Q-Rings start at this point and, due to their oval shape, put more strain on the pressing muscles and at the same time relieve the pulling muscles. This concept increases both the sprint and endurance performance through the better use of anatomical conditions!
The chainrings have basically several holes for the chainring bolts that allow the alignment of the blades finely graduated to suit your own preferences! The special shape of the chainrings allows precise switching operations thanks to properly executed switching ramps. Due to their continuous outer surface, the Aero chainrings have less contact surface for the wind and thus offer another small advantage at high speeds.
