      The SID is the top fork of Rock Shox in the XC-Race area. As a worldcup variant, Rock Shox provides them with the one-piece carbon shaft / fork crown construction, which reduces the total weight to below 1400g, making it one of the lightest suspension forks with a 100mm spring travel.
      From the new model year also with the Charger-damping known from Boxxer, Pike and lyric, but in a stripped down version to save some weight and maintain the improved damping properties. The Worldcup also uses the proven Solo Air technology. For easier adjustment, percentage sag markings are lasered on the standpipes. The factory-set Dig-valve - successfully prevents a sagging in the middle travel range.

      Solo Air
      The negative and positive air chambers are filled by means of a valve at the same time. What makes setting the personal set-up much easier.

      Charger Damper
      A new damping system, the principle of which has already proved itself in motorsport.
      New is a rubber bubble, which absorbs the oil displaced by the piston and supports the rebound with this "supercharging". Furthermore, the mixture of air and damping oil occurring during rough travel is prevented and thus a more constant positive damping behavior is achieved.
      In addition, a separation of damping and lubricating oil is achieved, which is good for the response of the fork.

      Dig valve
      RockShox has redesigned the rebound piston to allow the Dig valve to fit. It provides optimal control for the low- and high-speed compression stage and carefully controls the oil flow so that the driver always has the appropriate suspension and shock absorption. The newly developed piston allows the use of RapidRecovery, a rebound setting, which allows the damper to return to its starting position faster after successive impacts - for better ground grip and a more controlled ride.

      Bottomless tokens
      Here you can easily vary the air volume of the fork by optionally available tokens (volume packers), thus adapting the spring characteristic to your driving style.

      Torque Caps
      They reinforce the connection between the hub and the fork dropouts through an enlarged surface that connects both. This creates a stronger and stiffer interface with better feedback and control.
