Description
RACE FACE crank Next R Carbon CINCH system
This stiff combination transfers every step on the pedal uncompromisingly to the ground! At 485 grams, the Next R crank only weighs a little more than the ultra-light Next SL G4 crank. The low weight is achieved by the hollow carbon crank arms and the crankshaft made of 7050 aluminum. Due to greater wall thicknesses compared to the Next SL, the Next R crank arms are also approved for tough enduro use. The pedal inserts have also been reinforced with technologies taken over from the SixC downhill crank in order to meet the greater demands.
With a width of 136 millimeters, the crankshaft is optimized for frames with the 148 millimeter BOOST standard. With a diameter of 30 millimeters, it is compatible with all common bottom bracket standards such as BSA, Pressfit92 and PF30. If necessary, the shaft can also be exchanged for a wider variant for FatBikes. The highlight of the Next R is the CINCH system. The spider can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly via an integrated wave profile in the right crank arm. The spider is then secured with a lock ring. The assembly is carried out using a commercially available bottom bracket wrench for cartridge bearings.
