Rubber-Collet
The technology patented by Praxis Works compensates for small tolerances in the frame, thus avoiding annoying pops. When the two shells are twisted together, an elastomer is compressed in a defined way. This elastomer builds up slight pressure on the bearings to seat in the frame free of play.
With this bottom bracket you can drive your Shimano Road crank in a frame which is designed for the BB30 or Specialized OSBB bottom bracket standard. In order to compensate for the difference in the outside diameter, PRAXIS WORKS Dir provides you with a robust plastic sleeve made of Delrin as an adapter.
