Description
PRACTICE WORKS Chainring Direct Mount Wave Tech SRAM DMA
Practice Works is a US-based company based in Santa Cruz, which produces, among other things chainrings with outstanding properties. Made of high-quality, anodized aluminum 7075-T6, they are predestined for all intended use . This chainring is compatible with SRAM Direct Mount and Practice Works Direct Mount cranks with 3-bolt mounting.
Wave Technology
The Wave Technology chainrings have been specially developed for single drives. The individual teeth are alternately left and right of the center, which looks like a wave motion when driving from above. This is to prevent the chain from jumping off the chainring, much like SRAM's narrow-wide blades.
Praxis recommends the use of SRAM Type 2/3 or Shimano Shadow + rear derailleurs, which have a greatly increased preload of the cage and keep the chain reliably in position even without chain guide.
