The evaluation can be done in real time on the display joules or later on the PC. This allows you to optimize their training to the last detail.
The main element of Powertapnabe are extensometer inside the hub, which are glued to a part of the hub. During pedaling, the hub member deformed minimal (at the microscopic level), and the conductivity of the stretching members changed - resulting performance is derived.
Powertap is the only power measuring system which measures the power to the hub. This has the great advantage that it can be easily used on multiple wheels. Powertap provides access to real-time performance measurement with an accuracy of + / - 1.5%.
Note: Powertap uses the transmission system ANT + with the result that they are not tied to the computer "Joule" from Powertap. It can be any device that ANT + support to the hub used (eg Garmin Edge 500 Garmin Edge 800, O-SYNCE navi2Coach).
