The Pirelli Scorpion XC is a real all-rounder in the Pirelli mountain bike tire line. With its medium-length lugs, it is ready for use on a wide variety of ground conditions. Whether hard or soft, wet or dry, the Scorpion XC provides you with the perfect grip. Its lugs have been developed in height and spacing together with the mechanical properties of the rubber compound to offer uncompromising performance. The additional bridges support the lugs and facilitate self-cleaning in wet conditions.

SmartGrip Compound
Unique to PIRELLI Scorpion mountain bike tires is a continuous layer of Smart Grip Compound. The advantage of this is that the high performance of the lugs is maintained even after a long period of use. This ensures uncompromising grip, both in dry and wet conditions.

120 TPI TLR carcass
The Scorpion XC R tires are equipped with a flexible 120 TPI tubeless-ready carcass. It offers optimum stability and grip even at low tire pressure. In addition, the dense and flexible fabric ensures very good puncture protection.

ProWall construction
The ProWall sidewall reinforcement technology provides increased puncture protection and improved support and stability at low air pressures. An additional layer of nylon fabric on the sidewalls offers additional protection and improves cornering stability.
