OPENCYCLE GravelPlus Disc Frame 28" OPEN UP | Carbon blue
The UP (meaning: undeveloped path) combines a performance-oriented cross/road geometry with the tire freedom of a mountain bike. Thanks to the GravelPlus concept, you can ride almost anywhere and fast.
Whether in the city on asphalt, on gravel roads or on single trails, the perfect geometry and the large tires of up to 2.1 inches (for 27.5"|650B) let you master any terrain without any problems.
This enormous increase in tires naturally presented the developers with a major task. The bottom bracket area and the rear end have been adapted to the conditions without losing stability. On the contrary, the frame gained stiffness in the right places and still offers comfortable flex in neuralgic areas.
Opencycle uses 100% hi-modulus aerospace grade carbon, not to impress you, but to meet their own high standards of the product, using carbon in the right place. True to the motto: stiff and yet comfortable with extra traction.
The use of the latest standards such as flat mount disc brakes, Superlight Carbon-Ti thru-axles, Di2, the tapered head tube and the BB386Evo bottom bracket housing underline the coherent overall concept with high compatibility. The innovative design with the internal cables and brake lines not only creates a clean look but also saves weight. The gear cables run openly in the frame, but are protected from dirt and therefore only require a minimum of outer casing.
Opencycle frames are prepared for the future. A conversion to electric circuits with the current Shimano DI2 standard is possible at any time thanks to the well thought-out cable routing.
