RDO Carbon Compact System
The Air 9 RDO Carbon frame design benefits from years of technical development, process optimization and testing - both Niner in-house laboratory as well as independent resources. It all started with the first race bikes in 2005. Over the years there have been significant changes which led to the introduction of 9 RDO Air in 2012. RDO framework using the latest production processes in the carbon processing. The layer structure is optimized at every point, the individual carbon fiber layers are compressed consistently and are almost wrinkle-free. These processes lead to precise wall thicknesses, optimum resin content in the final product and thus a rigid as lightweight carbon frame.

Press Fit bottom bracket 30
The AIR 9 RDO uses the Press Fit 30 standard. This allows the use stiffer and lighter BB30 cranks with 30mm axle diameter.
NINER RDO fork (optional)
The AIR 9 RDO frame can be driven with any Tapered fork of 100-120 mm. For ultimate lightweight racing machines, there Niners RDO Carbon rigid fork. The stiff and lightweight carbon fork sets each crank revolution into pure propulsion. A half shaft with 15 mm diameter brings additional precision when braking and cornering.
Detail & Finish
The Air 9 RDO is available in two color options - Niner Red | Carbon and Black | Chrome. Niner Red comes in a matte finish and the mix of visible UD carbon with red Lackierdetails. Licorice is the completely black version. Here change the surfaces between matte and glossy. Again, the UD Carbon able to see very well.
