Whether on the test bench or on the legendary pavés of the Flemish spring classics, the new Newmen Streem wheels perform at the highest level on any terrain. The development of the wheels began in 2020 with the aim of creating a line of wheels that combines aerodynamics, low weight and high stability. The engineers' attention to detail is particularly evident in the patented, internal Streem Aero-Valve. Even during the test phase, the World Tour Team Intermarché Wanty Gobert was able to win several races, including the Giro d'Italia. After numerous CFD simulations, wind tunnel tests and World Tour racing at the highest level, the Streem wheels are now ready for the market.
The Advanced SL R.65 wheels are the first choice for flat and bumpy routes when aerodynamics and speed are the priority. Thanks to its high aerodynamic stability, you can make optimal use of the sailing effect. With a weight of 1574 grams (wheel set), the weight of the SL R.65 wheels is surprisingly low, which makes them easy to accelerate in criteria or in the final sprint.
Stream carbon rim
The Streem rims are made exclusively from the highest quality UD carbon fibers. Its shape achieves excellent values in all wind conditions and the profile is neutral in cross winds. The inner width of 18 millimeters has been optimized for tires with a width of 25 to 28 millimeters. Their hook profile offers both tubeless tube and classic clincher tires with tubes.
fade hub
With their extremely slim hub body, the light Newmen Fade hubs reduce air turbulence and ensure even less air resistance in the wheel. The 36-tooth pawl freewheel transfers acceleration to the rear wheel without delay. The reduced noise technology ensures a pleasant freewheeling sound.
Pillar wing spokes
The Streem wheels are built with Pillar Wing Aero spokes.
Stream AeroValve
The world's first internal (tubeless) valve ensures even better aerodynamics and a clean look. For pumping and deflating, the valve extension provided is simply screwed on by hand. Thanks to the adapters supplied, the hybrid system can also be used with conventional valves.
Subtle design
With their high-gloss decals on a matt UD carbon structure, the Streem wheels look good on all bikes.
