The driving characteristics of the high-end Newmen Advanced SL Gravel wheels with carbon rims, packed in an affordable performance wheelset with aluminum rims. Weighing just 1400 grams, the Evolution SL XR25 is one of the lightest gravel wheelsets with aluminum rims on the market. The wide, stable rims with an inner width of 25 millimeters offer very good support for wide tubeless gravel tires at low air pressures. Compared to the aero profiles of other manufacturers, the XR25 rims with their flat profile are much more comfortable and light-footed to drive.
The Advanced SL wheels are laced with the light and durable Newmen Fade hubs. Equipped with high-quality, double-sealed industrial bearings, the hubs stand for durability under all conditions. The grease used by Newmen offers 25% more water absorption capacity and a very high bleed-out temperature, which protects the bearings from premature wear and corrosion. The slim shape in the middle section saves weight, but safety was also a top priority. Better to use a little more material in neuralgic areas, like.
