You don't have to worry about adjusting the axial bearing clearance here either. The durable bearings are press-fitted precisely and precisely from the factory. This further development has gained a high degree of user friendliness. You can spend the saved time better on your favorite trail.
Of course, only high-quality, double-sealed industrial bearings with a special lubricant continue to be used. The grease used by Newmen offers 25% more water absorption and a very high bleeding temperature, which protects the bearings from premature wear and corrosion.
The design of the freewheel is completely different from the previous model. The goal was low noise. The FADE pawl system came out. 3 pawls engage in a new type of tooth profile. To increase durability, the diameter was increased and the individual pawls were made short and wide. The resulting forces are thus distributed over a large area.
Despite the relatively low weight, safety was not spared. It is better to use a little more material in critical areas, such as. For example, at the transition between the brake disc and spoke holder, as a risk of a defect. Newmen is so convinced of the FADE hubs that they are also approved for e-bike use.
