The MET Trenta Carbon is a performance road bike helmet for elite riders and is designed for the best possible function when riding in a group.
Designed to keep your head cool and provide effective protection in the event of a crash. It is the most advanced road bike helmet MET has ever made and is now also available in a version with the MIPS-C2® brain protection system. It floats on the head and can therefore effectively reduce the rotational forces that occur in the event of a fall. It also offers unprecedented temperature management. The NACA ventilation opening and the rear deflectors ensure ingenious guidance of the air flow inside the helmet and thus efficiently cool your head without slowing you down, especially as only 30% of the helmet rests on your head.
MIPS® technology
MIPS-C2® technology separates the shell and the liner with a thin plastic layer called the Low Friction Layer (LFL). This LFL, which is attached with four rubber elastomers, allows the helmet to float on the head and effectively dissipates the rotational forces from the head in the event of a fall.
3K carbon technology
The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon works better than any other helmet on the market. The research and development team discovered that the modulus of elasticity of the carbon allows the density of the EPS foam to be reduced by 20% without negatively affecting the energy absorption capacity. The result is an extremely light and at the same time better functioning helmet shell that sets a new standard in the manufacture of ventilated helmets.
