The MET Trenta Carbon is a performance road bike helmet for elite riders and is designed for the best possible function when riding in a group.
Developed to keep your head cool and effectively protect you in the event of a fall. It is the most advanced and lightest road bike helmet that MET has ever made and is now also available in a version with the MIPS® AIR brain protection system. It also offers unprecedented temperature management through 19 vents and internal air channels. The NACA ventilation opening and the rear deflectors ensure that the airflow is cleverly guided inside the helmet and cool your head as efficiently as possible without slowing you down, especially since only 30% of the helmet rests on your head.
MIPS® technology
MIPS® AIR technology is the lightest and most advanced safety system to reduce rotational energy. Thanks to a low-friction polycarbonate layer in the padding and innovative connecting elements, the helmet floats on the head and effectively diverts the rotational forces that occur in the event of a fall from the head. MIPS® AIR is tailor-made for each helmet size and thus achieves optimal fit and performance.
3K carbon technology
The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon performs better than any other helmet on the market. The R&D team found that with the modulus of elasticity of carbon, the density of EPS foam could be reduced by 20% without negatively impacting energy absorption capability. The result is an extremely light and at the same time better functioning helmet shell that sets a new standard in the manufacture of ventilated helmets.
