HYPR compound
The new road racing compound is made entirely of silica gel and is currently the best performing Maxxis rubber. HYPR offers 16% less rolling resistance with 23% more grip on wet roads than previous rubber compounds. While Maxxis brings the rolling resistance down and the grip up with HYPR, the mileage remains unchanged.
KEVLAR® COMPOSITE K2
This fabric is made exclusively for MAXXIS. It offers more puncture protection than regular Kevlar and Vectran. The light and supple K2 ensures unsurpassed performance and convincing handling of the tire.
