Maxxis' latest coup for fast bikes!
The low center rib of the rolling resistance is reduced and generates sufficient thanks to the well-known 120 carcass still grip on the ground. In order not to lose speed in the curves, make the slightly raised side knobs for the necessary tracking stability.
What makes this new development of Maxxis first choice for sprint races and races on hard surfaces.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides improved traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, also decreases the risk of breakdown. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the installation with sealing milk than others 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bulge of our TR tires is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer. Thereby the Schlauchlosmontage is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.
Even "normal" MAXXIS MTB tire can be mounted with sealant such as tires from other manufacturers Tubeless because the carcass is very dense.
But officially released for Tubeless mounting and guarantees from MAXXIS are the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models at your own risk.
Note: We recommend strictly on the use of ammonia-resistant milk. Ammonia attacks demonstrated to the carcass and, this, the amount used depends on the, after a few months up to 30% weakening.
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures we are planning on the desired properties of the tire.
