MAXXIS tires Refuse 27.5 | 650B x 2.0 TR, MaxxShield
Our most popular training tire and strongest racing tire was designed with TubelessReady technology and a larger volume of new intended use areas. For even more reliability and comfort, as well as the matching tire sizes make the refuse the first choice for Gravel bikes and travel MTB. His diamond profile rolls on safely, even when the road turns into a gravel road or field.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides improved traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, also decreases the risk of breakdown. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the installation with sealing milk than others 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bulge of our TR tires is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer. Thereby the Schlauchlosmontage is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.
Even "normal" MAXXIS MTB tire can be mounted with sealant such as tires from other manufacturers Tubeless because the carcass is very dense.
But officially released for Tubeless mounting and guarantees from MAXXIS are the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models at your own risk.
Note: We recommend strictly on the use of ammonia-resistant milk. Ammonia attacks demonstrated to the carcass and, this, the amount used depends on the, after a few months up to 30% weakening.
MaxxShield is the ultimate puncture protection. It combines the SilkShield round protection with our K2 Layer (Kevlar Composite).
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures we are planning on the desired properties of the tire.
