Maxxis' latest coup for fast 27.5 "bikes!
Maxxis realizes its 3C MaxxSpeed rubber in the further developed tire. The different layers in the tread blocks should match your
respective degree of hardness for less rolling resistance, a long service life and better grip. The low weight is achieved by the well-known fine 120 carcass.
Initial test drives confirm that the structure of the tire and the individual tread blocks are suitable for damp, loose and hard surfaces.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
tube tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube , the risk of a breakdown also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for assembly with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer tube As a result, the tube free assembly is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already with the first inflation and with little liquid. “Normal” MAXXIS MTB tires can also be fitted with tubeless sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabric is very dense.
Only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk.
Note: We strictly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealing milk. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it by up to 30% after just a few months.
3C Maxx Speed
Our fastest 3C mixture for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed for the lowest rolling resistance due to the hard substructure and the fast mixture in the middle of the tread, but with the non-slip mixture on the sides also offers superior grip in curves, even in wet conditions. The very long service life is also typical of MAXXIS.
EXO protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
