MAXXIS Tire Highroller II + 27,5+ | 650B + x 3.00 Dual Compound TR EXO
The bike park can come ...
With the further developed version of the classic, Maxxis has succeeded in further improving the successful model.
The Highroller II + has a more aggressive profile, which has been made more open to optimize self-cleaning and traction during braking. Because he always offers plenty of grip in a wide range of conditions, he is with his large-volume carcass for freeride and downhill first choice!
Newly scheduled shoulder lugs bite better with their many edges in curves. The cleats, which are bevelled in the middle of the tread, are also cut transversely to improve traction and braking performance.
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. Maxxis plans the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired properties of the tires.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
tube loose tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube , the risk of breakdown is reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the TR tire is like a real UST tube peeling completely covered with a rubber layer. As a result, tube assembly is possible with all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid. Even "normal" MAXXIS MTB tires can be mounted like other Tubeless tires with sealant as the carcass fabrics are very dense.
Officially released for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS are only the new MAXXIS TR models. Tubeless mounting of other models is at your own risk.
Note: We strongly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealant. Ammonia has been shown to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it by up to 30% after only a few months.
