Maxxis Chronicle is ready for the adventure. From the loose Feierabendrunde to long-distance travel with luggage to be used in fields. The tread pattern has grip in every (in terms of inclination) angle and 3:00 width guarantee a comfortable ride. The TR version with EXO sidewall protection is on driving without tube designed with sealing milk, but, like all TR tires with tube be driven.
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures we are planning on the desired properties of the tire.
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of different MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. Thus, the performance of the tire remains unchanged convincingly well.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
tube less tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides improved traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube is also decreases the risk of breakdown. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the installation with sealing milk than others 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bulge of our TR tires is like a real Tax tube losreifen complete with a rubber layer coated. This is the tube losmontage all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little fluid successfully.
Even "normal" MAXXIS MTB tire can be mounted with sealant such as tires from other manufacturers Tubeless because the carcass is very dense.
But officially released for Tubeless mounting and guarantees from MAXXIS are the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models at your own risk.
Note: We recommend strictly on the use of ammonia-resistant milk. Ammonia attacks demonstrated to the carcass and, this, the amount used depends on the, after a few months up to 30% weakening.
