Maxxis latest coup for 29 "all-mountain bikes!
The new wider tires Maxxis realized remain 3C Triple Compound profile. The different layers in the tread blocks to provide with their respective hardness for less rolling resistance, long life and high grip. The low weight is achieved by the known fine 120 carcass.
Confirm First test drives that the structure of the tire and the individual tread blocks for wet, loose and hard ground are suitable.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides improved traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, also decreases the risk of breakdown. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the installation with sealing milk than others 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bulge of our TR tires is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer. Thereby the Schlauchlosmontage is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.
Even "normal" MAXXIS MTB tire can be mounted with sealant such as tires from other manufacturers Tubeless because the carcass is very dense.
But officially released for Tubeless mounting and guarantees from MAXXIS are the new MAXXIS TR models. The tubeless assembly of other models at your own risk.
Note: We recommend strictly on the use of ammonia-resistant milk. Ammonia attacks demonstrated to the carcass and, this, the amount used depends on the, after a few months up to 30% weakening.
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of different MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. Thus, the performance of the tire remains unchanged convincingly well.
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures we are planning on the desired properties of the tire.
