MAXXIS tire Ardent 29 x 2.25 TR EXO
New all-round trail tire that rolls very well, is very light and offers a lot of grip.
Also for the new trendy 29 inch all mountain and enduro bikes.
In the middle of the barrel, narrow slat studs alternate with small block studs, thus ensuring an ideal combination of high traction and low rolling resistance.
Large block-shaped shoulder studs bite into fast curves with many edges.
It shows its advantages especially on the rear wheel.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.
Tubeless ready (TR)
tube tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube , the risk of breakdown also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tube . As a result, the tube free assembly is successful for all rims with standard dimensions as soon as they are inflated and with little liquid.
Even “normal” MAXXIS MTB tires can be fitted with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabric is very tight.
Only the new MAXXIS TR models are officially approved for tubeless assembly and guaranteed by MAXXIS. The tubeless assembly of other models is at your own risk .
Note: We strictly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealing milk. Ammonia has been shown to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it up to 30% after just a few months.
DualCompound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. We plan the arrangement of the mixtures according to the desired properties of the tires.
