Its supple damping work ensures enormously improved traction in a wide variety of terrain. Made of 7050 aluminum, it brings wonderful little weight and shines with a classy appearance. Incidentally, he is named after a trail construction tool, which has been devised by the US park ranger Malcolm McLeod. This is an extremely versatile hybrid of hoe and rake. Be it Enduro, All-Mountain or the fixed XC round, the McLeod can be easily adjusted while perfectly matching externally with the IPA platforms to the various needs.
IPA stands for the groundbreaking 4-step "Incremental Platform Adjuster". A compression adjustment with a smooth, linear characteristic at the beginning and tight setup at the end. With the optional MILO system, the damper can also be converted to a handlebar remote control.
Incremental Platform Adjuster (IPA) This system has four driving settings. Thus, the damper of each driver can be adapted to the appropriate terrain. As a result, the operation of the damper in each mode differs seriously from each other. In position 1 and 2, the damper is open, with low damping and fully utilized travel in Figure 1 and with higher damping for more feedback in position 2. Position 3 can be used as a trail mode, as here a middle platform for even more damper movement uphill is noticeable or you have a trail with less rough trail passages in front of him. In position 4, the platform is very noticeable to generate uphill climbing efficiency, with only small blows weggebüggelt.
