Lupine developed this flashlight based on the Piko light. The proven lamp head with its two Cree LEDs offers a real 1600 lumens at 16 W power consumption with a 22° beam characteristic. These are the actually usable luminous flux of the lamp. The competition often only specifies the total maximum values of the LEDs used and neglects the sometimes enormous loss of the optics used.
Regardless of these technical values, this flashlight delivers an excellent light image. In addition, it is typically Lupine freely programmable at any time. The programming scheme is lasered onto the housing, so you don't always have to carry the manual with you.
The Piko TL MiniMax is weatherproof and can also be used in pouring rain.
