LEONARDI RACING Chainring GECKO TRACK oval Direct Mount for SRAM Eagle crank BOOST
Lightweight, stiff and oval Direct Mount chainring from Leonardi Racing. DirectMount chainrings provide an optimal setup for single-speed or 1x10 / 11 and 1x12 (SRAM Eagle) drives. These chainrings are screwed directly to the crank arm and thus save a lot of weight compared to conventional spider / chain-blade combinations and are also significantly more rigid. The 7075 T6 aluminum alloy used ensures low wear. Special Narrow Wide Design teeth effectively prevent chain jumping. The principle follows the SRAM XX1 chainrings. In conjunction with an SRAM Type2 / 3 or Shimano Shadow + derailleur, which has a greatly increased preload of the cage, the chain is reliably held in place even without chain guide.
The ovalisation of the chain chain increases the performance by varying the drive train and optimizing the resistance. When walking with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into harmony. In this way a better utilization of the stronger muscle groups is achieved and in the weaker muscles a compensation in the working path (lower stroke) is created.
