KOGEL BEARINGS rear derailleur pulleys 2nd generation 12-14 teeth | Shimano Dura Ace R9100, Ultegra R8000/8100, 105 R7000
The 12 and 14 tooth derailleur pulleys from Kogel Bearings make your Shimano Road drivetrain more efficient. Due to the large outer diameter of the derailleur pulleys, the chain itself moves less, it rotates more slowly and there is less friction. In short, the larger pulleys make you faster. To further reduce friction, Kogel relies on its proven ceramic bearings. These ensure that the wheels run smoothly and have a long service life. The pulleys are made of aluminium to minimize wear.
The original rear derailleur cage can be retained when using Kogel pulleys. (L - lower = lower pulley, U - upper = upper pulley)
2nd generation
Kogel's second generation derailleur pulleys are dimensioned to fit into the standard SRAM and Shimano derailleur cages and utilize the highest possible number of teeth. The pulleys themselves are milled from aluminum and have a tapered edge on the teeth to prevent the chain from jamming when it starts dancing on jumps and rough descents. In addition, the height of the teeth has been increased to ensure better chain retention.
What remains unchanged are Kogel's super-smooth ceramic bearings and the choice of seals.
Road Seals
A minimal contact seal that ensures the smoothest possible running.
