Kappius hub rear KH-1
The KH-1 of the US company Kappius is certainly one of the avant-garde hub on the market. In the central part a carbon sleeve is processed, which is bonded with CNC-milled aluminum side plates. A definite eye-catcher are the additional millings, which allow a look inside the hub. The hub rotates on Enduro Bearings ball bearings, sitting outside a maximum extent and partially own oversize to allow a high rigidity and maximum durability. The freewheel works with 8 ratchets which are moved via neodymium magnets. In freewheel body sits a 60-fold toothing in which engage the ratchets. The result is a minimal idle travel, which provides direct and ultrafast power transmission. Use of end caps, the hub can be easily converted to different Achsstandards.
NOTE: The hub has a special freewheel, which only the segments served by Kappius cassette Sram XX (10x, 11-36), Sram XX1 (11-speed, 10-42) or Sram X01 (11-speed, 10- 42) compatible. The matching cartridges are available in our shop.
