HOPE brake caliper RX4 Postmount
For gravel bikes and racing bikes, HOPE now also has a suitable brake solution in its range, the tried and tested English milling art combined with technical understanding led to the HOPE RX4 brake caliper.
According to HOPE, the perfectly milled RX4 brake caliper not only leads to increased performance compared to two-part solutions, but also prevents unwanted rubbing or "rubbing" with the right pads and discs. Another advantage is the four-piston solution, with 2 smaller and 2 larger slave pistons. The two smaller ones allow the brake pads to be put on quickly, the two larger ones maximize the braking force.
The HOPE RX4 brake caliper is available for Shimano as well as SRAM brake levers, the exchange is very easy, because you only have to replace your existing brake caliper with the HOPE RX4 brake caliper. The HOPE RX4 brake calipers are therefore not interchangeable, since Shimano and SRAM use different hydraulic fluids, with Shimano it is mineral oil, with SRAM DOT brake fluid.
When replacing your Shimano brake calipers, please note that there are different versions that cannot be interchanged, the HOPE RX4 brake calipers for Postmount only fit as a replacement for the following Shimano brake calipers: Shimano BR-RS785 and Shimano BR-R785
At SRAM, all HOPE RX4 Postmount brake calipers are suitable for all hydraulic brake levers in the Force, Red and Rival groups.
