The latest thing the British Forging Hope is a modular crank which typically feels like for Hope in various intended use areas well. This is made possible super stiff crank arms made of forged 7075 aluminum, which are then CNC machined. Connected to both crank arms with a torsionally stiff aluminum shaft having 30 mm diameter. The crank arms sit extremely safely on a multi-tooth receiving the shaft and mounted on a patented system. The setting of the bearing play is as simple as a ring on the shaft. To complete the crank arms is a 1-way and 2-fold Spider available. Likewise Hope offers a hip Direct mount chainring which spider and chainring integrated into one. Thus, the crank can be installed in virtually any context, there are matching bottom bracket for the BSA, BB92 and PF30 standard.
The Hope Fat Bike crank 190/197 is designed for frame constructed an RDS (Rear dropout spacing) of 190 or 197 mm. This means the rear hub has an installation width have 190 or 197 mm. The chain line and also affiliated tire clearance is optimal.
