Arguably the brand's most eye-catching and iconic model, the limited edition Hayes Dominion A4 "Purple Hayes" was designed to commemorate the early days of mountain biking. Back when Hayes forever changed the sport with its revolutionary and groundbreaking technologies with its early version of Hayes disc brakes. There will only be 500 pieces of this brake worldwide.
The brake comes in the usual outstanding quality. The sensor on the lever is adjusted at the factory to the shortest possible idle travel in order to generate a crisp pressure point immediately when activated. Four pistons are installed in the cold-forged, stiff brake caliper in order to be able to use the largest possible brake pads and thus generate maximum braking power. In addition, the generous dimensions of the brake caliper have a positive effect on heat management. The Crosshair Caliper Alignment System makes it much easier for you to mount and align your brake caliper. The brake caliper can be adjusted quickly, precisely and without grinding with two grub screws on the side.
The two-stroke dual-port bleeding system inspired by motorsport makes it easier to maintain your brakes and you always have optimal performance. The brake line is reinforced with Kevlar to withstand possible damage as best as possible and not to spread the DOT 5.1 brake fluid on the trail.
