The designers of GEMINI have always been surrounded by bicycles from an early age and now apply their acquired knowledge of the production of composite materials, which results from years of experience in the design of motorcycles, bicycles and components, to a high degree of perfection.
The result is a stem-handlebar unit in unibody design that cannot be compared with any conventional handlebar. The stable Pollux was specially designed for downhill riders who prioritize comfort, maximum control and perfect ergonomics on long and difficult descents.
During development, every area of the handlebars was examined and optimized at the highest level. Compared to conventional stem/handlebar combos, it was possible to achieve greater damping of vertical shocks and vibrations, which leads to less arm and hand fatigue and enables higher speeds on descents.
On the other hand, the unibody design generates a high level of horizontal rigidity, which makes the steering much more direct and responsive.
The Pollux is made from the best carbon fiber available on the market today - Mitsubishi MR70. Specially designed for the most demanding customers in the aerospace industry, it is the key to greater comfort and safety. Countless tests in the laboratory and in the field confirm the perfect symbiosis of design and material, which offers optimal conditions not only for racing.
Note: In order to ensure the best possible control and damping of the handlebars, GEMINI recommends installing the stem-handlebar unit on bikes with a 62 and 64 degree steering angle.
