The developers of GEMINI have always been surrounded by bicycles since their early youth and are now applying their acquired knowledge about the production of composite materials, which results from years of experience in the design of motorcycles, bicycles and components, with great perfection.
The result is a stem and handlebar unit in a unibody design that is not comparable to a conventional handlebar. The robust Kästor was specially designed for enduro and trail riders who focus on low weight, high stiffness values and maximum integration and control during technical descents.
During the development, every area of the handlebar was examined and optimized at the highest level. Compared to conventional stem / handlebar combinations, greater damping of vertical shocks and vibrations could be achieved, which leads to less fatigue of the arms and hands and enables higher speeds on descents.
On the other hand, the unibody design generates a high level of horizontal rigidity, which makes the steering much more direct and responsive.
The Kästor consists of the best carbon fiber currently available on the market - Mitsubishi MR70. It was specially developed for the most demanding customers in the aerospace industry and is the key to greater comfort and safety. Countless tests in the laboratory and in the field confirm the perfect symbiosis of design and material, which offers optimal conditions not only for racing.
Note: In order to ensure the best possible control and damping of the handlebars, GEMINI recommends installing the stem handlebar unit on bikes with a steering angle of 64 and 67 degrees.
