Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsports.
Design and production of tuning parts for engines and undercarriages were part of the Garbaruk company. The experience and knowledge gained have allowed the bicycle-enthusiast Brothers Garbaruk to be integrated into the production of bicycle parts. All steps from design, production to surface refinement take place under one roof.
7075-T6 Aluminum from Germany is the raw material from which the chainrings from Garbaruk are CNC-milled. The chainrings have some features that differ from competitors.
narrow-wide teeth
In order to hold the chain securely even without chain guide, the teeth have a special profile of narrow and wide teeth alternating. To ensure this even under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are manufactured approx. 40% longer than usual teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that even in muddy conditions the chainring works very well. Dirt and mud are effectively removed when spilling the chain.
We recommend using a shifter with increased cage tension (SRAM Type 2-3, Shimano Shadow +) which keeps the chain in place and prevents the chain from jumping.
oval shape
The ovalisation of the chainring increases performance by varying the drive train and optimizing the resistance. When walking with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into harmony. In this way a better utilization of the stronger muscle groups is achieved and in the weaker muscles a compensation in the working path (lower stroke) is created.
VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with chain blades with a changing chain line which depends on the number of teeth. For other manufacturers, a fixed chain line standard, but it must be selected in such a way that even larger chainrings do not touch the chain strut.
The smaller the cooking bar chain, the closer it is to place it on the chain strut.
This makes the chain line even more ideal as the chainring is almost centered with the cassette.
