Garbaruk is a company from Ukraine, which has its roots in motorsport. Designing and manufacturing tuning parts for engines and chassis was one of Garbaruk's passions. Today, the Garbaruk brothers, who are enthusiastic about cycling, use the experience and knowledge they have gained to produce high-end bicycle parts. Since 2019 the company has been based in Kraków, Poland. What remains unchanged: From design and production to surface finishing - all steps take place under one roof.
7075-T6 aluminum from Germany is the raw material for Garbaruk's complex CNC-milled components. The chainrings have some features that differ from the competition.

VCLT (Variable ChainLine Technology)
Garbaruk works with all chainrings with a changing chain line . This depends on the number of teeth. The chain line is thus optimized so that the chain ring is aligned almost in the middle of the cassette in accordance with its size. With other manufacturers, a fixed chain line is common, which must be chosen in such a way that even larger chainrings do not touch the chainstay.

Melon - oval shape
The ovalization of the chainring increases performance by varying the drive train and optimizing resistance. When kicking with the legs, the natural strengths and weaknesses are brought into line. This achieves better use of the stronger muscle groups and creates a balance in the weaker muscles on the way to work (less stroke).

narrow-wide teeth
In order to keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the teeth have a special profile made up of alternating narrow and wide teeth. So that this is also the case under very rough and rough conditions, the teeth of the Garbaruk chainrings are made approx. 40% longer than normal teeth. Furthermore, the teeth are shaped in such a way that the chain ring works very well even in muddy conditions. Dirt and mud are effectively removed as the chain overflows.
