For the ultimate trail use, the FOX 34 comes with the same superior features as its lightweight sister, the FOX 34 SC. The completely revised casting guarantees outstanding rigidity values without additional weight. Innovations such as immersion tube ventilation and channels integrated in the immersion tubes to improve lubrication and discharge of the compressed air in the casting round off the fresh cell treatment. The proven FIT4 dampers and the improved FLOAT EVOL technology ensure an even better response. Stiff 34 mm anodized standpipes, exclusive SKF seals and the closed cartridge ensure a long service life.
Different tuning options ensure the best performance on the trail, provided they are set correctly. And that is exactly where the problem lies - many hobby drivers are overwhelmed with it and do not fully exploit the potential of their chassis due to incorrect settings. The result - more frustration than pleasure while biking.
To prevent such problems in the future, Fox thought about it and developed the 3-pos system.
This extremely simplifies the coordination of the compression stages and the coordination of the spring elements with one another, thus enabling unparalleled performance and harmony of the chassis.

PERFORMANCE ELITE LINE
Performance Elite forks have the same functional scope, the same weight and the same materials as the Factory series, but have black anodized stanchions instead of the Kashima Coat coating.

34 CHASSIS DESIGN
The distinctive shape of the immersion tube design is not just for the visuals. The 34 mm stanchions and generously overlapping sockets ensure precise implementation of the steering impulses.

3- POS-FIT4
The current generation of the patented and encapsulated FIT4 (FOX Isolated Technology) cartridge system offers three pressure level positions that can be set while driving (open, medium and fixed), for adapting to the terrain at any time. The forks of the Factory series also have a low-speed compression setting with 22 clicks in open mode, so that the driver can adjust the spring behavior perfectly to his preferences.
The FIT4 cartridge damper has been redesigned based on the award-winning HSC / LSC damper, so that all forks now have a significantly more powerful damper. This year, the FIT4 damper was given an updated set-up, which ensures more sensitivity and yet a firm hold.

FLOAT AIR SPRING
The FLOAT air suspension system reduces the breakaway torque and thus offers a highly sensitive fork and full comfort even with small impacts. And that for every type of driver and with the most varied of air pressures. Similar to the FLOAT spring struts, the FLOAT spring system is characterized by a positive and a negative air chamber, which automatically balance each other when driving. Every driver can enjoy the benefits of the correct, precisely balanced air pressure in both air chambers. The progression of the spring characteristic can be adjusted with our air volume spacers - which enables every driver to set the characteristics of the air spring precisely.

NEW EVOL AIR SPRING
The response of the fork is significantly improved by the enlarged negative air chamber. This increases comfort because the breakaway torque can be reduced. In addition, a more linear spring characteristic offers better performance, especially in the middle travel ranges.

LOWER LEG CHANNELS
When a fork compresses, the air in the lower areas of the dip tubes is compressed at the same time. The more the fork compresses, the more the pressure increases. This effect has the consequence that the fork responds harder and may not be able to use the full spring travel.
The overflow channels help to solve this problem by directing the compressed air from the lower part of the dip tubes upwards, thus reducing the unintentional increase in pressure. Another advantage of these channels is that the lubricating oil in the lower area of the dip tubes circulates upwards during the spring action and continuously lubricates the foam rings and the sliding bushings.
