FIZIK Saddle Aliante R1 Braided Regular black
Equipped with the innovative TwinFlex technology, the Aliante R1 offers an optimal ratio between stiffness and weight. The braided saddle frame made of braided carbon fibers with a core made of linear carbon fibers has a much higher stability than conventional carbon fiber frames can offer. Another feature is the scuff guards on the sides of the saddle, which protect the saddle cover in case of a fall. The Aliante R1 is excellently suited for drivers of the type Bull after the Fizik Spine Concept.
Fizik Spine Concept
The Fizik Spine Concept helps you find the right saddle. It divides the driver according to the articulation of the spine, which results in different demands on the saddle to sit ergonomically and over long distances symptom-free on the bike. For the very articulated driver Fizik has developed the made for Snake models, which are comparatively long and flat. For very flexible drivers, the main load always sits on the seat bone and they therefore require little padding. The less flexible driver tends to tip forward with the pelvis, especially if he takes a streamlined position on the bike. For this type of driver, the made for Bull models are suitable, which with their rearwardly rising shape offer better support for the pelvis and have more padding. The gap between these two models fill the made for Chameleon models with a slightly flatter line than the Bull models and a bit more padding than the Snake models.
twinFlex
The TwinFlex saddle shell is made of two layers with different properties. The inner layer is made of bidirectionally laid carbon fibers, which give the saddle shell a very high flexibility. An outer layer of multi-directionally laid carbon fibers provides the necessary rigidity and controls the flex of the saddle.
Integrated clip system
The ICS system is a saddle-integrated option to mount ICS-compatible saddlebags or taillights without tools and safely in the twinkling of an eye. At the bottom of the saddle shell, it does not disturb the appearance of the saddle and brings only a negligible extra weight.
