EXTRALITE Rear Hub CyberRear SP-T
Extraordinary CyberRear SP-T combines the ultimate hub with high reliability. SP is Straightpull, which means that the hub has been specifically designed for straight head spokes. By eliminating the sensitive spoke arch, these spokes form the perfect base for a long-lasting impeller.
In the complex CNC-milled hub body made of aluminum, 4 double-sealed grooved ball bearings rotate on a multi-conical aluminum axle with a diameter of 17 mm. In order to support a higher, radial storage voltage, the left spoke flange (non-drive side) was additionally reinforced with carbon fibers. This causes the storage voltage to be distributed more evenly between the two flanges and the rear wheel can be constructed similarly to a front wheel, with more homogeneous tension. The freewheel body works with titanium locking pawls which simultaneously engage in a 32-fold titanium toothing. On the non-drive side, it is always possible to adjust the axial clearance of the hub via the microtuner. The result is a 132g light hub, which is powerful in itself!
ATTENTION: The hub is only released for Road and Cyclocross. At least one translation ratio of 1.00 should be selected! Shorter ratios (conditions) can destroy the freewheel due to excessive torques!
