E * THIRTEEN Tire LG1 Race All-Terrain Downhill 29 x 2.35 Race Compound
The TRS tires were e * thirteen's instant classic. The aggressive, uncompromising tread design ensures excellent traction - grip was in demand and e * thirteen provides the answer. For 2018 e * thirteen now also establishes a downhill tire on the market. The profile remains unchanged from the TRS series, but the overall tire system, with its two-layer structure, is equipped with far-reaching and, not unimaginably, downhill-specific adjustments. In summary, dimensionally stable and puncture-proof tires which make no compromises in grip and rolling resistance - with surprisingly low weight.
Race compound
Low rolling resistance paired with super sticky side cleats trim this rubber compound on uncompromising racing use. The composition provides a special damping behavior, which allows the tire to roll smoothly on rapidly changing surfaces at any time.
Apex inserts
Tapered Apex inserts improve grip when cornering and braking. In addition, they raise the puncture safety to a new level without influencing the rolling resistance too much.
Aramid reinforcement
The tire has a woven aramid layer, which increases the tightness and favors the cut resistance as well as the puncture resistance.
