ENVE rim 29 "M730 | 32 holes
The M730 rim marks the future of downhill-oriented driving right through to racing. It is designed for optimum handling, is incredibly stable and has the most effective and light penetration protection on the market, the ENVE-developed Protective Rim Tape. This gives the downhill-oriented biker the freedom to adjust the tire pressure to the desired curve characteristics and stability on rough trails. The novel rim profile in conjunction with the patent-pending, impact energy absorbing Protective rim tape allows you to waive any puncture protection inserts in the rim base or tire and instead drive any desired tire type as well as tire pressure. It is noteworthy that this innovation was realized in a weight-neutral manner and with additionally higher penetration protection.
ENVE carbon rims are engineered by ENVE in the US and manufactured to the highest quality standards at the Utah headquarters. Engineers at ENVE have years of experience using carbon in the field of cycling and know what needs to be met by a top product like these carbon rims. At ENVE, everything is focused on harnessing the benefits of carbon and eliminating its disadvantages. So stiff and extremely light rim were developed in which all fibers can run without interruption which corresponds to the best possible utilization of the material thicknesses. This principle was perfected in the spoke holes by continuous fiber strands form the mount for the spoke nipples. Aluinserts, as they are common with other carbon rims, can therefore be dispensed with during production. This reduces the weight and at the same time allows much higher spoke tensions which in turn allow the construction of stiffer wheels!
