The racing bike, Gravel and cyclocross disc hub, which rightfully bears the name ENVE - because it raises the performance compared to the current leading competitors to a new level. This hub allows the construction of even more efficient wheels, with better power transmission and higher reliability thanks to the low-maintenance and robust construction.
A forged aluminum blank is transformed from a CNC lathe into a lightweight hub shell. The newly developed hub flanges avoid premature fatigue of the spokes and the special insert for higher rigidity and simultaneous weight savings.
To ensure a smooth, fast rolling action in the aluminum road hub, it has special, high-quality bearing shells and balls made of stainless steel, which guarantee optimal corrosion protection under any conditions or intended use en. The outer bearings are completely sealed to keep out any dirt. In the hub interior, contactless seals are used to reduce rolling resistance.
The maintenance effort is further minimized thanks to Perfect Preload technology and the service life of the bearings is noticeably longer. Thus, the bearing clearance must be neither adjusted nor readjusted.
The pulley freewheel is toothed 40 times and offers compared to the pawl freewheel faster traction, lower weight and ease of maintenance.
