EASTON chainring Direct Mount System CINCH Narrow Wide
The Easton Direct Mount chainrings are not only adapted mountain Narrow Wide chainrings, they are specially adapted to the use of Road-, Gravel- and cyclocross bikes. At the base of the teeth material was saved to reduce the frictional drag of the chain and to increase the self-cleaning the mud. Thus, even with the large Kettenumschlingung a 50T chainring, the resistance remains low and there are more watts to the rear wheel. Also at the edges of the teeth material was taken away in order to keep low even at maximum skew of the chain resistance and noise. Despite the slim design, the developers of Easton are so convinced of their optimized Narrow Wide profile that they enable the use of the gears with standard derailleurs without vibration without chain guide. To connect the outer ring with the RCA recording of the crank, Easton uses an asymmetric 4-arm spider. This design makes the chainrings not only visually an eye-catcher, it also saves weight. To avoid losses in terms of rigidity, the arms are constructed so that they in the areas where the highest force occurring in the pedal cycle, are stiffest. Available are the chainrings with tooth numbers from 38 to 50 teeth.
