DUKE rim 28" Baccara Ultra 48C SLS2 Disc UD carbon symmetric
With this rim Duke has broken the limit. Sensational 395g on the scales with a rim height of 48mm are unrivalled. Nevertheless, no savings were made on safety, after all it is approved for a system weight of 95 kg.
Starting with the already very light SLS2 rims, the French managed to reduce the weight by more than 10%. Material was only saved in non-critical areas. The durability and stability are convincing. Together with the high profile, this guarantees you a stiff wheel and excellent aerodynamics. Nevertheless, comfort is not neglected. The special arrangement of the carbon layers is able to soften the peaks of impacts from the ground. This prevents premature signs of fatigue in the arms and hands.
The unique finish is achieved through the SLS2 manufacturing technology. No reworking or painting is necessary after the manufacturing process and the special look is retained.
3 year guarantee on carbon rims
Duke selects the materials used very carefully in order to be able to offer you the best possible product. Therefore, the quality standards for all products, subcontractors and partners are very strict. Duke guarantees for a period of three years that the rims offered will not have any hidden defects. However, improper assembly or use of the products will void the warranty.
Furthermore, Duke offers a crash replacement for its carbon rims. In the event of an accident or serious fall, violent impacts can damage the rim and make it impossible to use.
