If you love driving on real plus tires or if you live in an area where oversized tires are a must, the M 582 will enjoy the full benefits: it is a full 40mm wide, light enough to be pedaled all day to kick, and strong enough for each trail. The result of intelligent design work using a unique alloy and clever profile construction.
The rim is connected with the sleeve joint procedure. A molded part is pressed uniformly into both ends of the rim profile and the rim is put together. Convinced of the robustness, DT Swiss releases the rim up to a system weight of 120 kilograms. Like all DT Swiss rims of the current program, the M 582 is also ideally suited for tubeless operation. Only one suitable tubeless tape, tubeless valves and sealing milk is required.
