Following the motto never change a running system Dt Swiss has its high-end only slightly revised the hub 180 series for model year 2015 and added variants for all common axle and freewheel standards. Same is the minimalist weight with extremely high stiffness, which is achieved by a central part of unidirectional carbon on the hub body. The stiffness at the hub body is used, the load on the spokes evenly distribute. Driving and braking forces are transmitted better from both Speichenflanschen on all spokes. Unilateral load peaks are prevented what hub, spokes and rim saves.
DT Swiss hubs stand for easiest installation and highest reliability. The latter is achieved with the 180 hub with smooth, durable hybrid ceramic bearings. Through the use of expensive seals and the loads customized bearing sizes the hubs do not require adjusting the bearing clearance.
