Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - these are the strengths of the newly launched DT Swiss 240 hubs, which have been further developed with Ratchet EXP technology. The super reliable freewheel system ensures direct power transmission without losses. The stiffness on the hub body serves to distribute the load more evenly on the spokes. Driving and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. Unilateral peak loads are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim.
DT Swiss hubs stand for the simplest construction and maximum reliability. Thanks to the use of complex seals and bearing sizes adapted to the loads, the hubs do not need to adjust the bearing play. So the driver doesn't have to worry about the function of the hubs for years! Should a service be necessary after tens of thousands of kilometers, the hubs can be dismantled and serviced within minutes without special tools thanks to the DT Swiss plug-in system.
