The smooth-running SINC Ceramic ball bearings offer you another decisive advantage; they ensure minimal rolling resistance. The stiffness of the hub body serves to distribute the load on the spokes more evenly. Driving and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. One-sided load peaks are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim.
DT Swiss hubs stand for the simplest construction and maximum reliability. The latter is achieved with the 180 hubs with smooth-running, durable hybrid ceramic bearings. Thanks to the use of complex seals and bearing sizes adapted to the loads, the hubs can do without adjusting the bearing play. The driver does not have to worry about the function of the hubs for years! Should a service be necessary after tens of thousands of kilometers, the hubs can be dismantled and serviced within a few minutes without special tools thanks to the DT Swiss plug-in system.
